WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT MAKE

There have been times in my prayer time in the past which you might have experienced something similar when the voice of the enemy and the flesh kept telling us to quit because the need is too great and impossible for God. I resisted it because there is nothing God cannot do and He always proves Himself faithful.
Have you tried and done everything you know to do and there seems to be no positive outcomes? Are you tempted to stop praying or becoming hesitant in continuing to stand firm on the truth of God?
When there seems to be no immediate answers to our prayers and obedience to God we begin to question, second guess or wonder if; our prayers, obedience and daily trust in Him has been worth our time or actually being making any difference. The more it seems like nothing is happening or going to, that is when something great is occurring in the realms of the Spirit for our good. Don’t judge God by what you see only rather live by faith because your continuous obedience and faithfulness will be rewarded.
2 Kings 5:1-19
Naaman became angry because after traveling a long way to see the Prophet for his healing he did not give him the courtesy to speak to him directly but rather sent his messenger to tell him to wash in the river Jordan seven times. He wondered why river Jordan as there was better rivers from where he came from. Because he was highly respected among his army ranks, his pride nearly made him miss his healing. Don’t allow pride, arrogance and stubbornness keep you from obeying the voice of God to experience His healing and deliverance power.
Luke 5:1-6
After Peter toiled all night without any catch, started washing his net when Jesus told him to cast his net again. Peter an expert in fishing knew the times and strategies so the word of Jesus did test him but he obliged to obey him anyway. What followed was a great catch. Imagine if he had not cast his net again he would have missed what God has planned for him. Don’t allow your experiences, past failures and expertise keep you from obeying the Word of God to experience His miraculous.
Luke 17:11-19
Jesus encountered ten lepers and they wanted to be healed from their leprosy. He told them to go and show themselves to the Priest. They have heard that He heals the sick instantly so why would He send them this time? Everything changed when they chose to obey. We should not allow disobedience, procrastination and doubt keep us from experiencing the fullness of His blessings.
The Word will not fail - Isaiah 55:11
What has God spoken to you personally, stirred in your heart or through His Word that you have been trying to put off or contemplating to obey? The delivery of our miracle or God’s divine intervention is embroiled in our obedience. Don’t stop or get tired of obeying God even when you don’t see any evidence of His faithfulness because in due season you will reap. Our continuous obedience makes a huge difference more than we can ever imagine.
Prayer works - James 5:16
Men ought to pray and not faint, the very lesson from one of the parables of Jesus. Prayer is not magic, when you pray and don’t get the answer keep praying until you have what you desire. Prayer works and those who do not quit will eat its fruits not those who prays occasionally or inconsistently. Our prayer makes a difference that is why our flesh and the devil will fight us to quit. Every prayer you pray gives you strength to continue to pray, builds up confidence in His promise, breaks all the resistance the enemy puts in your way and finally position to receive what is yours in Christ.
Hannah cried unto God until she received her heart desire. Elijah prayed that there will be no rain and prayed again and it rained. Jabez prayed and God changed his destiny. Jacob wrestled with the angel of God; refused to let Him go until He blesses Him.
Cast not away your Confidence - Hebrews 10:35
We should not cast away our confidence in spite of delays in the manifestation of His promises, when there is no significant change in our situation and the seemly unmovable mountains.
Our confidence in God can seem to be a false sense of assurance of His promises but it is not because it is our ticket to enter into the world of miracles and the guarantee of the victory we have in Christ Jesus. If you feel you have lost all hope or the reason to live make sure it does not include your confidence or faith in God. It is your confidence that will bring you back to life from the grave, surprise your critics and enemies by rising again. People and the devil may count you out but your confidence in God will prove them wrong that your God is faithful and able. Our confidence makes the difference if we do not cast it away.
Abraham held on to his confidence in spite of the deadness of Sarah’s womb and how old he was. Job held on to his confidence in God throughout his many trials and God honored him with double of all that he lost. David held on to his confidence in God in defeating the strong and mighty Goliath. The woman with the issue of the blood held on to her confidence as she pressed through the crowd to touch Jesus.
Galatians 6:9
So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Jeremiah 31:16 Thus says the LORD, "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; For your work will be rewarded," declares the LORD, "And they will return from the land of the enemy.
Every prayer is like incense before God, every act of obedience or sacrifice is written in the book of remembrance and every suffering for Him will never go unrewarded. When you feel that your labor of love, kindness and generosity is not producing the desirable results, go unrecognized or unappreciated know that our heavenly Father who sees in secret will reward you if you don’t quit.
Stand firm and be persistence in faith continuously because each day of obedience prepares you and me for our day of honor that is set ahead of us.
God bless you.
