Celebrating all forms of Victory

God reminded me, and also to remind others that as we wait for the main or major victory we seek from Him, we should not forget to celebrate other forms of victory along the way.

Victory is not only having the miracle we so desire but also during the moments or seasons when our faith was tested but never gave up. It is holding fast to our confidence in God while we wrestle with our doubts or in despair until God turns our mourning into dancing.

These forms of victory are critical and connected to whatever we are expecting from God. Instead of boasting in our ability or having a pity party, let us celebrate God by giving Him thanks, praising and worshipping Him at all times in every situation.

Before the big breakthrough or expectant miracle arrives we should intentionally celebrate these milestones because they are victories in themselves. It glorifies God, reveals His true Nature through us and also makes us true witnesses to others.

The devil wants us defeated, feel like a loser, smell like a failure and see ourselves as victims of our circumstances. When we celebrate what God has done and is doing in our lives the devil and his agents are thrown into confusion, wondering what else they can do to make us give up.

THE LIES - THE ENEMY AND US

The whisper or the voice of the enemy seems to appear when least expected; when our hopes and confidences get stirred up praising the Lord or in our darkest moments in life. It cast doubt on the faithfulness of God; question our reason of praising Him in light of our unanswered prayer request(s), or attempt to oppress us the more because our situation seems impossible for God.

The more the storms of life tarry the likelihood we become inclined to rehearsing or believing self-destruct thoughts and lies playing in the theatre of our imagination. It is important to immerse ourselves in the Word and Prayer so that we can keep our faith alive, hope full and mind renewed.

FORMS OF VICTORY

When we celebrate these forms of victory, our focus and concentrations are shifted to God away from any situation or circumstance confronting us for Him to act on our behalf.

CELEBRATE YOUR FAITH IN GOD! -1 John 5:4

Do we really know what we have as believers, one of the greatest gift from God; our faith? It has the power to access or open the door of heavenly blessings stored for us before the foundation of this world in Christ. It has the power to move mountains, slay giants, conquer or overcome the impossible and subdue powers of darkness. Faith is the force nothing can stand against, it is a voice heaven cannot refuse to honor.

The devil wants every believer remain cynical, skeptical, faithless and doubtful when it comes to the Word of God and our Confidence in God.

We often feel we have the victory only when we have our healing or any breakthrough we desire but it not entirely true. We are victorious while we maybe still hurting or struggling but holding firm to our Confidence in God. It produces in us the expectation that things will turnaround soon because God is Faithful. CELEBRATE YOUR HOPE IN CHRIST! Romans 5:5

There so much hopelessness in our world today so hold fast to your hope in Christ and celebrate it daily. The devil wants every believer remain pessimistic, in despair and expectant of the negative when it comes to our expectations in life.

Our hope can dissipate easily under prolong and impossible situations or circumstances. It is important to hold fast to our hope against all hopelessness like Abraham. Not everyone have the hope we possess so let us praise God for having this assurance that He will not fail, for this hope is a great asset for us to treasure.

CELEBRATE GOD FOR THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ALIVE! Eccl 9:4 Job 14:7-9

Our enemy wants us to remain hopeless, depressed, lose the sense of purpose to live or even contemplate suicide. We are alive for a reason and for a purpose, celebrating the gift of life

re-enforces this truth and helps us to change our outlook in life.

If we have lost something or someone precious we cannot conclude it is the end of our lives because the end comes when we are not alive. Job lost everything but knew it wasn't the end of his life so he turned to God, and He restored to him more than what he lost. Our God is a Restorer, praise Him for the gift of life and rejoice to see greater things He will do in and through you. If you have been praying for someone for their salvation or need, rejoice they are still alive although there may not be any significant change yet, remember God is still at work. CELEBRATE GOD FOR HIS SUSTAINING GRACE! Acts 17:28

Many people have turned away from the Lord or embrace sinful ways because of the hardships of life. Not everyone survives or and thrives in the midst of the storms of life. Our enemy doesn't want us to survive left alone thrive as a testimony to glorify God. Sometimes we feel we do not matter to God or there is no chance we can make it. God has a way daily to sustain you and I through the storms of life, to teach us to depend on Him. God fed the children of Israelites manna in the wilderness, birds also fed the Prophet Elijah until the brook dried up. He does this to bring us to a place and time to glorify Himself in our lives. Let us praise God for the grace that has brought us this far to experience His full salvation.

CELEBRATE GOD FOR THE HELPERS IN YOUR LIFE! 2 Cor. 8:1-2

Do you know how many people feel abandoned, rejected and lonely in this life? God in His sovereignty has prepared people to help us in our spiritual growth and other areas of our lives. They are God's agents send to accomplish a purpose in your life. We should not take these people for granted but appreciate them and thank God for their lives. They act as first responders, while others are running from you they are running towards you. While others are passing you they stop, and attend to you like the good Samaritan. They are real reminders that God has not abandon us, cares for us and will surely visit us in due season.God used a widow to feed Prophet Elijah, God used Joseph to get the king's cupbearer to be restored to his original position while using the cupbearer to bring Joseph before the king. If you feel lonely God sent me to tell you, you are not alone He is with you to show Himself strong on your behalf.

CELEBRATE THE GOD OF ALL BLESSINGS! Habakkuk 3:17-18 In our struggles in life there are still endless reasons to praise God in every situation. For every hundredth reason not to praise Him, remember there are a million to praise Him the more.

If you have everything or no immediate need remember to celebrate the God of the blessings, and become a blessing to others rather than worshipping the blessing.

Where there is little progress, focus on it to celebrate Him, knowing that Faithful is He who has began a good work. Gratitude starts from the little or insignificant blessings in our life and not when we have everything we need. God's blessings are uncountable, often disguised or seen as minuscule.

If things are worse or there is no significant change in your situation join the Prophet Habakkuk to still celebrate the King of Kings even though there seems to be no reason to praise Him. Let us celebrate His blessings by focusing on what we have and not what we have lost or desire to have. Our gratitude to God opens the Heavens for God's blessings to rain on our lives.

GREAT BENEFITS OF CELEBRATING ALL FORMS OF VICTORY

GRATEFUL HEART

The Psalmist said create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit in me. When we celebrate these forms of victory we allow or corporate with the Holy Spirit to create in us a heart of gratitude to God for His mercies towards us. It takes a little for a grateful heart to rejoice in God or break out in a spontaneous praise and dance to Him.

RENEWED STRENGTH

The road to victory is uphill and treacherous to say the least but the Strength of God helps us to endure and persevere. Waiting on God is celebrating His Goodness and Works in our lives. Our weakness gives way to His Power which renews our strength and restore our souls. We become unstoppable through His Power.

MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER OF GOD

God's Presence manifest when His people praise and give Him thanks. The Presence of God saturates our spirit, soul and body. We become more aware of His Presence and in tune with the leading or conviction of the Holy Spirit. We become more intune to discern God's voice and ways that pleases Him, and making our faith formidable to the enemy of our souls.

GOD FIGHT FOR US

God has ordained praise in the mouth of His children to silence the foe and the avenger. When we celebrate His Greatness and Awesome Power He rises and scatters our foes. He takes over our battles, carries our burdens and gives us the victory we so much desire. Our God is a warrior and the breath from His nostrils destroys His enemies. Let God fight for you and watch your enemies fall down flat on their faces.

SETTLED ASSURANCE

In the midst of the great storm, Jesus was asleep while His disciples were panicking. There is a calm assurance that the Holy Spirit gives to seal the Truth of God in us that "it is well". This happens when we take time in exalting the Name of the Lord and thanking Him that we have what we have asked of Him. This is unspeakable Joy, overwhelming Peace of God and such a boost of Confidence in God that we will not die but live to declare the Goodness of God.

God bless you.
